Montecito
Like its California village namesake, this room has casual and elegant charm. The room's theme is centered on an original oil painting by Kurt Polter and combines bright primary colors against white walls. White shutters cover the large bay windows opening to a mountain ridge view. There is a Spanish influence in the iron four-poster queen bed and pottery accessories in this "almost round" shaped room. Because of its openness and hominess, it has been a real guest favorite.

Carolina
Dancing sunlight and happy colors of green and yellow make this room bright and cheery. The filigreed, burnished gold fireplace screen, white Battenburg bedding, and small Federalist antique desk hint of Carolina's southern elegance. The bath with its seashell appointments reminds one of the Carolina coast - from its shell-shaped lavatory to its patterned wallpaper.
Looking from the queen bed through the bay windows, it is possible to view a variety of Carolina foliage. On a quiet summer night, Plott Creek can be heard meandering from the mountain tops to the valley below.
