If you're like Emerson and
love to wander, these are the grounds you've been looking for.
Bleeding hearts, butterfly bushes, bachelor buttons, columbine,
clematis, peonies, daylilies, yarrow and rhododendron join together
in a riot of color and pattern to make your walk worthwhile. Meander
by the two perennial gardens, a bird garden and a herb garden, and
down to the two tranquil ponds. As you cross over the walk bridge
you're bound to see goldfish and koi gliding peacefully along. All
of this can be experienced while surrounded by the glorious Blue
Ridge Mountains.....very mellow yellow.
