At The Yellow House on Plott Creek Road, we specialize in hosting beautiful elopements and intimate weddings in the heart of Waynesville, North Carolina. Over the past several years, we’ve helped more than 100 couples celebrate their love in our peaceful mountain setting. Each celebration is unique — from simple “just us” ceremonies to elegant gatherings with close family and friends.

What Is an Elopement?

Traditionally, “eloping” meant running away in secret to get married. Today, the term has evolved to describe a small, meaningful wedding experience often called a micro-wedding. Modern elopements focus on intimacy and simplicity, featuring a relaxed ceremony with few guests (or none besides the couple and the required witnesses). Many couples choose elopements for a more personal and stress-free way to say “I do.”

Why Choose an Elopement Package?

Couples who select one of our elopement packages in Waynesville, NC enjoy the ease of a fully planned celebration without the pressure or cost of a large traditional wedding. Our dedicated team handles every detail — from ordering the flowers & cake to booking your special dinner celebration at a local farm-to-table restaurant. You’ll also enjoy luxurious accommodations and fresh, from-scratch breakfasts each morning of your stay.

How Many Guests can I Invite to my Elopement Celebration?

At The Yellow House, an elopement is defined as a ceremony with 15 or fewer guests, not including the couple. Each of our three elopement packages accommodates different guest counts, so you can select the one that best fits your vision. For events with more than 15 guests, we recommend exploring our wedding packages instead.

What are the Different Elopement Packages You Offer?

We offer three thoughtfully designed elopement packages to suit different styles and budgets:
