Dog Friendly Accommodations
We Offer Two Pet Friendly Rooms
For the health and safety of our guests, our Waynesville, NC pet friendly hotel only allows dogs in two designated rooms in our Pond House: The Kinsale Suite and The Cottage Suite. Both suites offer direct outdoor access from their ground floor locations, as well as hard surface flooring. Before booking, please review our pet policies, as (with the exception of certified service animals) dogs are not permitted inside the Main House at any time.
Pet Policies
- Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of $20 per night per pet. Limit of 2 dogs per room. If you bring more than 2 dogs you will be automatically charged an additional $100.
- Only well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Yellow House B&B. Owners accept full responsibility for any damage caused by the pet including furniture damage, damage to blinds and curtains, damage to carpets by mud/soiling/chewing, or damage to linens or towels.
- Dogs are not permitted in the main house at any time, except for certified service animals which are welcome at no additional charge. Therapy dogs or emotional support dogs are allowed only in the pet-friendly rooms and will be charged the regular pet fees.
- Dogs must be clean and up to date on all shots, and treated for fleas and ticks.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times they are outdoors, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Pet waste bags are available outside the Pond House.
- While dogs are not allowed inside the inn, they are welcome to join their owners at breakfast on our outdoor veranda, weather permitting.
- Dogs may be left unattended in the suite only if they are kenneled or crated.
- Wet feet and coats should be wiped before entry into the suite. If your dog takes a swim in the pond we will show you where the hose is to help you get them cleaned up.
- We are unable to accommodate any animals other than dogs.
